Tom Davis

Founded in 1978 by Tom W. Davis, United Pool Distribution, Inc. (UPDI) was the result of a customer-driven desire for a new service to replace the one Tom previously worked for that was not performing up to Tom’s high standard of excellence. While the types of businesses served and service offerings provided have changed to a degree over the 40+ years since the Company’s inception, the high standard of excellence that the Company was founded upon remains the expectation under Tom’s still-active involvement. Tom is proud of what his Company has accomplished over the past 4 decades and equally proud of the outstanding reputation it has achieved. Still, ever the perfectionist, he realizes that there is much more to be done for the benefit of the shipping public over the next 40 years!
